The author of the Booker Prize-nominated The Keepers of Truth turns to a psychological thriller here. In Lost Souls, a despairing small-town cop investigates the Halloween death of a 3-year-old child. What originally looks like a hit-and-run accident soon turns into a major investigation that involves the police officer in a cover-up and results in more deaths.

Michael Collins earned a bachelor’s degree and master of arts degrees from Notre Dame.
