From April 8 to 12, the second annual IDEA Week took over Notre Dame’s campus — and the cities of South Bend and Elkhart.
The community-building tech festival featured a number of big-name headline acts this year, including country star Tim McGraw, comedians Ali Wong and Jim Gaffigan, and TV illusionist Michael Carbonaro. In between the marquee events, the week featured dozens of lower-key get-togethers, from lectures on artificial intelligence to panels on blockchain and corporate innovation.
The mastermind behind all of this, of course, is Notre Dame’s IDEA Center, a startup incubator founded in 2016. To read more about what the IDEA Center does when they’re not planning multivenue cultural festivals, check out this piece from our Summer 2018 issue.
