The front half of a 15-foot giraffe now greets visitors in Jordan Hall of Science. The College of Science’s Museum of Biodiversity recently received a donation of 88 taxidermied birds, an African lion and a giraffe from Greensboro Science Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. The new arrivals are undergoing a careful unpacking, cleaning and restoration process to ready them for future display.
