Sorry, Oak Room — there’s a new spot in town for dorm dances. This week’s photo comes from a joint Keenan-Cavanaugh formal, held February 23 in the Dahnke Ballroom in the recently opened Duncan Student Center.
The long-exposure image was captured by student photographer Nicholas Marcopoli. The sophomore computer science major and Keenan Knight hailing from Macomb, Michigan, shoots photos for Keenan events and serves as photography manager for Scholastic magazine.
Marcopoli is the first of several student photographers who will illustrate scenes from student life for Photo of the Week throughout the spring semester.
