The Quilter's Kitchen
An Elm Creek Quilts Novel with Recipes
by Jennifer Chiaverini ’92 (Simon & Schuster)
This newest addition to the Elm Creek quilt series tells the story of how Chef Anna del Maso, one of the newest members of the circle of quilters, comes to write the group’s official cookbook. At the same time, the kitchen of the historic Elm Creek Manor, now a popular place for quilting retreats in Waterford, Pennsylvania, must be updated, leading to nostalgic memories of the manor’s traditions.
The book contains 100 recipes, including such items as vermecelli salad, vegetable curry, spring bread, Moroccan vegetable stew, friendship squares, bee tea and cranberry cornbread dressing.
