Lauren O’Brien ’04 also received the Excel Award, which is given to new CPAs whose combined average score on the exam is 90 percent or above and who rank in the top 5 percent of the state’s scores. . . . Hank Whittemore ’63 will receive the Distinguished Scholarship Award at the 2006 Shakespeare Authorship Studies Conference for his book The Monument: ‘Shake-Speare’s Sonnets’ by Edward de Vere, Earl of Oxford, which claims to solve the mystery of whom Shakespeare was writing about in his sonnets. . . .
