Duncan Hall hosted ND 100, a charity event to honor the first responders of September 11, 2001. ND 100 participants ran up the equivalent of 110 flights of stairs in Notre Dame Stadium to commemorate the 110 floors of the World Trade Center buildings that police officers and firefighters climbed in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks. Proceeds from the event support HEART 9/11, an organization of first responders which assists communities affected by natural and man-made disasters.
