Artist Andy Hoi-Csiu Chan, a disciple of the Lingnan School of Chinese ink painting, demonstrates the technique at Notre Dame’s Snite Museum of Art. His visit was part of the opening celebration for an exhibit featuring works of Chinese master artist Chao Shao-an (1905-1998). The pieces displayed in “Chao Shao-an: Moments between Worlds,” which continues through June 20, are on loan from the personal collection of the artist’s grandson KY Chiu ’89 and family of Hong Kong. —Margaret Fosmoe ’85
