Senior Jacob Matsumoto, in training this week to be an Alumni Hall resident assistant, will be among those educating fellow students about the required COVID-19 precautions for the fall semester, including wearing a face mask in almost all campus spaces. Students and faculty gearing up to resume in-person classes expressed excitement and concern about the University’s reopening plans. Include Matsumoto among the optimistic: “I think this could be successful,” he said, “if students listen and follow the rules.”
