After 848 victories and two national titles, Muffet McGraw climbed down this week from the heights she ascended in 33 seasons as the Notre Dame women’s basketball coach. With her retirement, McGraw leaves an unparalleled legacy, and leaves the program in trusted hands that hold their own pieces of those championship nets, former Notre Dame player, assistant — and now head coach — Niele Ivey ’00.
