Members of the Notre Dame and Wake Forest women’s basketball teams formed a heart before Thursday’s game at Purcell Pavilion to honor Martin Luther King, Jr., and to demonstrate unity in a divisive time. A quote from King appeared on the video board as the players and coaches linked arms: “Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
