The forecast for the next few days shows some not-quite-perfect weather for May 20's commencement exercises, but few graduation weekends can beat 2016 in terms of uncomfortable climes. Two commencements ago, temperatures were as low as the mid-40s as graduates turned their tassels.

Newly minted alums improvised to stay warm, parading into Notre Dame Stadium with jackets and blankets — and, as demonstrated by 2016 grads Kara Neumann (left) and Bridget Doyle, even the occasional Snuggie.

The occasional raindrop may fall on the festivities this year, but graduates and their families can at least skip the Snuggies: Temperatures should hover in the low 70s all weekend long.

Photo of the Week is a new weekly series at magazine.nd.edu highlighting photos of notable happenings on campus and in the Notre Dame family around the world.
