In honor of the fast-approaching football season, our photo this week features a Fighting Irish giant.
University photographer Matt Cashore ’94 was wandering campus earlier this month when he captured this memorable shot of the Frank Leahy statue outside Notre Dame Stadium’s south gate. Though Leahy’s likeness won’t welcome fans for a home game until mid-September, the season’s away-game opener will be here before you know it.
