Notre Dame students participated in a centuries-old Latin-American tradition: Las Posadas, a Christmas season reenactment of Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter during their pilgrimage to Bethlehem before the birth of Jesus. The campus commemoration of Las Posadas, which translates to “lodgings” or “accommodations,” included candlelight processions featuring song and prayer.
Photo of the Week highlights images from campus and from the Notre Dame family around the world. Have a snapshot you think we should see? Email email@example.com to be considered for publication.
