Two years after the coronavirus pandemic prompted a virtual commencement, graduates of the Class of 2020 returned to campus May 27-29 to celebrate a long-awaited in-person commencement weekend. Joy was evident at the gathering that drew nearly 2,000 returning graduates and 7,400 relatives, friends and other guests. The weekend included a commencement ceremony in Notre Dame Stadium and a well-attended traditional last class trip to the Grotto.
