With students gone for the summer and no one to feed them dining hall muffins or ice cream cones, Notre Dame squirrels have resorted to “hanging out” with faculty and staff.
Grace Morrison, a digital specialist with the Notre Dame Alumni Association, took this picture of a fellow summer citizen of campus earlier this summer break while strolling from the Main Building to her office. And after weeks of watching Notre Dame seniors pose for photos in front of the Main Building and Basilica of the Sacred Heart, it's safe to say he was ready for his closeup.
The only question now is whether this camera-ready critter is the same one featured in this series last year as the co-star of a God Quad graduation shot.
