49 Rest in Peace, Robert

Robert Louis Jones Sr., who matriculated at ND on the GI Bill, died Dec. 29. Bob was head of what became the family Hi-Land Laundry in Louisville and was an avid golfer at the Big Springs course, an avocation shared with sister Joann, before retiring to Juno FL and Big Tree Village. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean Boland, met on the Big Springs course. Bob was the father of Colleen Underhill, Betsy, Bobby, Boland, Michael and Nancy, and grandfather of 18. — Bill Slavick; whslavick@gmail.com
