20MBA Summer Updates
Our classmates have been busy as of late with national and international adventures. Kicking this update off with one of the biggest adventures in life, Matt Logsdon and his wife, Danni Kane, welcomed their daughter Evelyn Elizabeth in September. In January, Fernando Quijano married Dr. Madeleine George. The couple first married in January in a symbolic ceremony in beautiful Cartagena, Colombia, where they were joined by fellow MBA classmates Alex Candee, Kevin Gore, Adria Griffin, Nishtha Kaushik, KRS Rao and Paul Trisic. Fernando and Madeleine then had their civil ceremony in April in Durham NC, where they live with their black cat, Judy. Adria Griffin recently accepted a new role in product management at Kroger Technology and Digital, and she and her husband, Matt, will be moving to Cincinnati this summer. They are excited to be closer to family and look forward to attending more Notre Dame games this fall! If you have any updates to share, please send them my way! — Audrey Walker; awalke10@alumni.nd.edu
20JD Making Moves
I miss you all dearly and hope many of you are starting to make plans to return to campus this fall for a game. If you find yourself in town, please let me know. I would love to meet up! Our classmates continue to impress with endless exciting career moves. Rachel Miller joined Chain Bridge Bank as senior vice president, counsel and corporate secretary, after working as an associate at Jones Day and as a law clerk for Hon. Chad A. Readler of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit since graduation. In her new role, Rachel will manage the board and committee meetings, advise on corporate governance and provide legal counsel. Katie Takeuchi is returning to Notre Dame (yay more ’20s in South Bend!), joining the Exoneration Justice Clinic — which we all know works tirelessly to exonerate innocent people. As the clinic’s legal fellow, Katie will play a leading role in the selection of new cases for legal representation, oversee the work of clinic students and assist with the clinic’s active cases. I am praying for and thinking of you all, always. In Notre Dame, Go Irish! — Elizabeth (Lombard) Eckert ’15, ’19MBA, ’20JD; 708-334-0213; elombard@nd.edu
