20MBA Wedding Bells in Washington

The MBA class of 2020 has been busy recently and this update might set a record for the most alumni mentions! Rachelle Ollee and PJ Flynn ’13, ’20MBA got married this July in Seattle. Notre Dame representation at the event was strong across the board, with alums as far back as 1978 and as recent as 2020. The wedding party included Meg Flynn ’09, Lauren ’05 and Ryan Craft ’05, Catherine ’11 and Conor Brennan ’11, Patrick Julien, Bo Brinkman ’13 and Joe Dages ’13. Guests from our Class included Gina Guzzardo Assad, Adenike Opetubo, Emily Clark, Steve Petro, Kyle Ragan, Phil Thekkekara, Blazo Vukmanovic and Dan Ferras. The couple resides in Chicago where PJ works at a startup, Prove, and Rachelle works at crypto company Coinbase. Gina gets a mention in both our updates, as she and Audrey Walker completed their respective rotations in the Janssen Pharmaceutical Leadership Development Program. Gina was promoted to a product director in the company’s neuroscience division, and Audrey was promoted to a product director in the oncology department. Any other updates to share? Send them my way! — Audrey Walker; awalke10@alumni.nd.edu

20JD Plenty of ’20 Class Celebrations

Celebrations continue to abound: Sarah (DeAgostino) and Peter Fricano married at a beautiful ceremony in Lake Forest IL on Aug. 5. Katie Peachman said “yes” to Alex Kurrie — who asked her to marry her in picturesque style in New York City in August. Bailey (Burns) and Mick Pence danced the night away at their elegant Pittsburgh nuptials on Sept. 16. I had the pleasure of running into and catching up with Teal Trujillo at the NDLS tailgate before the Ohio State game, where we both showed way too many pictures of our new puppies (feel free to ask us to send some — we would happily oblige). Some career updates: Jennie (Christensen) Patricoski is currently leading General Electric Corporate’s Insider Threat team, a team that works to identify employees who are egressing data. In December, she will start a similar role (senior staff cyber investigator — insider threat) at GE Vernova. Allison Ibendahl recently lateraled to White & Case from Jones Day, joining as a commercial litigation associate in the Houston office. Praying for and thinking of you all, always. In Notre Dame, Go Irish! — Elizabeth (Lombard) Eckert ’15, ’19MBA, ’20JD; 51699 Ashton Ct., Granger, IN 46530; 708-334-0213; elombard@nd.edu

21 Amazing Accomplishments

Hey there, Irish! Hope everyone had a great fall, enjoying all the sights and sounds that the #FreemanEra has to offer. Before we get started on the many exciting life updates, we wanted to draw to your attention the tragic passing of our classmate Ana Diederich. Ana was a bright and inspiring light for the many who were lucky enough to call her a friend. We ask that you keep her friends and family in your prayers for the foreseeable future. She will be dearly missed. MaryKate Drennan began a new job as an associate systems engineer on the Traction Electrification Team at Sound Transit in Seattle. Cheyenne Schuster found her way back under the Dome, taking over the position as rector of Walsh Hall at ND. It also appears that we are in full swing of #ringszn as there were plenty of engagements and weddings to celebrate! Congratulations to Mary Freedlund and Charles Meyers who were married on June 24. Congratulations also to Lily (Polster) and Zach Pearson who were married on July 1 in Mishawaka. Engagements abound for our classmates, with Katie Calhoun and Alex Witte getting engaged. Additionally, Katherine Tracy and Jack McConnell were engaged on campus on Friday, Sept. 22, and enjoyed a lovely celebration afterward with a slew of cherished friends in attendance. Finally, Natalia Adriance and Ben Huls were engaged in May. Congrats, all, on some amazing life accomplishments and milestones! As always, for those of you reading along, don’t be shy! When we send out our quarterly emails asking for updates, let us know what you’ve been up to. Or, if you’re too eager to wait for that, you can DM us 24/7 on Instagram @class21nd. We look forward to hearing from you, and Go Irish! — Ryan Mullin; rmullin77@gmail.com
